Trip Overview

Depart Cusco, Urubamba or Ollantaytambo on the early train traveling northeast through the lush Sacred Valley of the Incas and feel the grandeur of the snow mountains once dominated by the Inca Empire. Arrive at Aguas Calientes village, walk to the bus station and catch the local shuttle up to the concealed Inca citadel of Machu Picchu. Begin the guided tour visiting the principle temples, plazas and shines followed by free time to explore the city, trek Huayna Picchu mountain, meditate, write in your journal or just simply chill out. Bus down to Aguas Calientes for lunch and afternoon return to Cusco. Once in Cusco you’ll be transferred to your hotel.
