Day 1 Depart Lima / Caral / Lima(B)
After a hearty breakfast our caravan will depart Lima at 5:30am in route to the oldest precolonial settlement in the Americas, Caral. We’ll travel 185km north on the Panamerican highway. We will then head northeast up the Supe river valley for another 25 km, stopping for a beverage and snack at a desert oasis. Our caravan will reach Caral by 10:00am. We will have a 1.5 hr guided tour of the sanctuary followed by free time to explore and take pictures. Departure will be at approximately 12:30 pm. Don’t miss the fantastic tamales in the rustic village of Supe. Estimated arrival in Lima 6:00pm. Transfer to hotel. Adventures to Peru services end today. If your flight leaves the following day, please advise ahead of time so we can arrange extra accommodation in Lima at clients’ request.
